The account inside your Meta business portfolio that holds your WhatsApp phone numbers and message templates.
A WhatsApp Business Account, usually shortened to WABA, sits inside your Meta business portfolio. It groups one or more phone numbers, owns your message templates, and carries settings such as the currency used for billing.
Templates are approved at the WABA level, so every number in the same WABA can use the same approved templates. Quality and limits are tracked per number and per portfolio, which is why one badly received campaign can affect your ability to message more widely.
Most businesses need one WABA. A business with clearly separate brands or regions may use more, each with its own numbers and templates. Avoid creating extra WABAs by accident during setup, as templates do not move between them. When you connect through Meta's sign-up in Marichi Talks, the WABA and number you choose are linked to your workspace, and their templates appear in your template list.
