How to add it to your site

Copy the snippet and paste it just before the closing body tag of your site's template, so it appears on every page. Most website builders have a place for custom code in the footer or in the site settings; it goes there.

The snippet is a single link with its own styling. It loads nothing from us and does not track your visitors.

• WordPress: a footer code or header and footer plugin, or your theme's footer file
• Shopify: the theme.liquid file, before the closing body tag
• Wix and Squarespace: custom code in site settings, placed in the body end
• A site you build yourself: the shared layout or footer template

Make the first message do some work

Set a pre-filled message that says which site the chat came from, for example "Hi, I have a question about an order from the website". Your team then knows the context before they reply, and a chatbot can route the chat to the right person.
