Marketing on WhatsApp, to people who asked to hear from you
Reach customers where they already read their messages. Build a list with consent, send approved templates to the right segment, and see exactly what happened to every message.
Start with consent, not with a list you bought
WhatsApp only works as a marketing channel when people want your messages. Meta requires opt-in, and customers who did not ask for a message tend to block or report it, which lowers your number's quality rating and can cap how many people you can reach.
Marichi Talks records opt-in and opt-out on every contact, so a campaign never goes to someone who said no.
- Click-to-chat links and QR codes on your shop counter, receipts or posters
- A first message in a chatbot that asks for permission in plain words
- Imported contacts carry their opt-in status with them
Write the message once, get it approved
Marketing messages go out as Marketing templates that Meta reviews first. Add an image or video header, personalise with variables such as the customer's name, and add buttons that open a link, start a call or send a quick reply.
Send to a segment, not to everyone
Tags and attributes on each contact let you pick who gets a campaign: customers in one city, people who bought last month, people who tapped 'Tell me more' on the last offer. Smaller, relevant sends get better replies and keep your quality rating healthy.
Schedule it and watch it land
Send now or pick a time. Each campaign shows how many messages were sent, delivered, read, replied to and failed, so you know whether the offer worked and which numbers to clean out of your list.
Replies go somewhere useful
A campaign is the start of a conversation. Replies arrive in the shared inbox, or a chatbot can take them first, answer common questions and pass the interested ones to a person.

10:22Questions people ask
How much does a marketing message cost?
Meta prices each template message by its category and the recipient's country, and marketing is usually the highest category. Your wallet shows the price for each country before and after you send.
Why was my marketing template rejected?
Common reasons are a template that reads like a different category, variables at the very start or end of the text, or content that breaks WhatsApp's commerce policy. Edit and resubmit.
Can I send a promotion inside the 24-hour window without a template?
Inside an open customer service window you can reply freely. Campaigns to many people, though, should use approved templates, and anyone outside the window can only be reached that way.
What happens to people who opt out?
Their opt-out is recorded on the contact and they are left out of future campaigns automatically.
