Meta rates each template on how customers react to it, and can pause or disable one that is often blocked or reported.
Alongside your number's quality rating, Meta tracks the quality of each template. It is based on how recipients respond: blocks, reports and the reasons they give, weighed against reads and replies. A template can show as high, medium or low quality, or as still being assessed.
If a template's quality falls far enough, Meta pauses it for a period so you cannot keep sending it. A template that keeps getting paused can be disabled. Campaigns that rely on it stop sending while it is paused, which is easy to miss if nobody is watching.
Treat a quality drop as feedback about who you sent to and what you said. Narrow the audience to people who clearly opted in and showed interest, make the message more relevant, reduce frequency, and add a simple way to opt out. Check template status before scheduling a large campaign.
