A template button that opens a website link or starts a phone call, instead of sending a reply back to the business.
A call-to-action button takes the customer somewhere outside the chat. The two most common types are a URL button, which opens a web page, and a call button, which dials a phone number. Templates can also carry special buttons such as copy-code for one-time passwords.
URL buttons are useful for anything that already works well on the web: tracking a parcel, paying an invoice, viewing a full menu. The link can include a variable, so each customer gets their own tracking or payment page. Call buttons suit urgent or sensitive matters where a conversation is better than typing.
Make the button label describe the destination, such as 'Track order' or 'Pay invoice', and make sure the page works well on a phone. Because a link tap does not send you a message, it does not open the customer service window the way a quick reply does. Marichi Talks templates support quick reply, URL and call buttons.
