Status updates for each message showing whether it was sent, delivered to the phone, read by the customer, or failed.
Every WhatsApp message moves through a series of statuses. Sent means it left the platform for WhatsApp. Delivered means it reached the customer's phone. Read means the customer opened it. Failed means it could not be delivered, with a reason.
These statuses tell you what actually happened, which matters for both service and money. A reminder that was delivered but not read may need a follow-up; a run of failures may mean bad numbers in your list. Read receipts depend on the customer's privacy settings, so a missing 'read' does not always mean unread.
Use delivery and read rates to compare campaigns and templates over time, rather than judging one send in isolation. In Marichi Talks, each campaign shows sent, delivered, read, replied and failed, analytics show delivery and read rates per number and per campaign, and SMS has delivery reports per message too.
