The problem
Email was not pulling its weight: about one in five emails was opened and only a few percent were clicked. Students waited too long for answers to common questions, and many who registered for webinars never joined.
What they set up on WhatsApp
- Ads on Instagram and Facebook that open a WhatsApp chat instead of a form, so every interested student starts a conversation
- Reminders on WhatsApp before each webinar
- Broadcasts of course offers to students who had opted in
- A chatbot for frequently asked questions, and a shared inbox where several agents answer from one number
What changed
Click-to-WhatsApp ads brought in three times as many leads. Webinar attendance rose fourfold once reminders moved to WhatsApp, and course sales from WhatsApp broadcasts were five times higher.
